  • Having used the print version as an undergrad, I felt that the electronic version is much more accessible. The interface is very straightforward, the searching is easy to grasp, and the articles themselves are well-organized. The bibliography, related articles, and links are great features of each article.
3. Routledge Encyclopedia of Philosophy is up-to-date with current information. 4.00
  • I already noticed that updated articles are denoted with a little "Updated" graphic. The print version was not updated very frequently, so having this electronically is great in and of itself.

  • This is the single most authoritative encyclopedia for philosophy. In a discipline with so few electronic resources, this is essential to have.

  • The articles are very concise and easy to read. It's great for majors, non-majors, and faculty.
